Morning Haiku and Waka – November 14, 2015

Persimmon Dawn

persimmons at dawn
under the dripping fog
a single leaf falls
resonating in my soul
[the echos of autumn]

a whining lament
runs through my mind at dawn
an ancient sound
like the echoing wind
across a high plateau

    • Thanks … in fact the second was rather an after-thought … glad you enjoyed the first one. BTW – I’m away from home right now and forgot my password-sign-in book, so I’, unable to reply to Tumbler and Median writes … will do so when I return home tomorrow …
