our last farewell

the tomb also shakes
my weeping voice is
the autumn wind

  4. I like how this haiku feels poignant and yet the description of being “dressed in yellow sunflowers” introduces a sense of hopefulness too – it allows the overall meaning to remain nicely open to interpretation..
