Morning Haiku and Waka – Frost – January 14, 2016

frosted lake

frozen rose petals
ephemeral perfection
limp in the sun

etched in white
each tree in the park
winter’s enchantment

moving shadows
shapes upon the frosted glass
a siren passes

    • Thanks dear … they’re nice to look at … yesterday I went for a bike ride and forgot my leather gloves … oh how my hands burnt! Maybe I should write some haiku about that! 🙂

  1. How very beautiful. You almost made me wish for an inland winter but the cold might be a shock to the system. I rarely see frost since I moved to the coast.
