ephemeral perfection
limp in the sun
etched in white
each tree in the park
winter’s enchantment

Thanks dear … they’re nice to look at … yesterday I went for a bike ride and forgot my leather gloves … oh how my hands burnt! Maybe I should write some haiku about that! 🙂

How very beautiful. You almost made me wish for an inland winter but the cold might be a shock to the system. I rarely see frost since I moved to the coast.

Well as I was saying to Cheryl-Lynn it’s interesting and even nice to look on the stuff .. not so much walking (or heaven forbid) riding a bike in it 😉

You know … in this area of Trentino (Riva and the lake Valley) we don’t have trains anymore .. it’s the first time in years that I’ve lived someplace without a working train station. Kind of sad.

Well, we have trains, but they’re all the freight variety. Which is also kind of sad ….
When it’s foggy the sound is quite intense.

I like to hear the sound of a train passing in the fog … really eerie.
