in an instant
the hills are gone – a bright light
intense darkness
in an instant
the passing of a life
illumination
the hills are gone – a bright light
all remembered
all understood
intense darkness
the wheel of Samsara turns
a new life is born

That really moved me. You took me right back to a moment in my own life when someone very close to me died. Your capture the intensity of emotion and also the deeper spiritual energy that is so present at such times. Thank you.

Your thoughtful sequence reflects those emotions felt when we lose a loved one. Beautifully written.

What a lovely journey you have penned as a troiku, cara! I could see my father pass through paths and then my grandson was born, eight months after his death
