barefoot in the morn
her slippers stained with water
returning at dawn
walking under the moonlight
with her secret lover
spring passion
blackbirds and cherry blossoms
and secret kisses
quickening of spring
feverish he watches her
swaying past his door
wondering how to meet her
before cherry blossoms fall

Yes .. it’s been popping off and on all weekend and is driving me mad – plus no word from our friend … again very worrisome! Here it’s been raining non-stop for the last 24 hours and snowing in the nearby valleys.

Thanks Hank .. and sorry I’m late responding to your wonderful comment. I’m afraid I’ve been having a week long problem with my server … the internet keeps dropping out leaving me cut off from the world 😦
