I’ve been so busy I completely forgot that in September my dear friend Rick Daddario from “A 19 Planets Art Blog” hosts the 30 days of haiga challenge … so I’m very very late indeed! In order to make up I’ll write four haiga today and four tomorrow using Rick’s prompts – then I will proceed as I always do … following my own inspirations … and I hope to see many participants this year!! 🙂
The first four prompts are the following:
- new moon 2. fire or campfire 3. wind or breeze 4. gold, golden or yellow
silence echoes
under the new moon
summer is over

farewells
under the fire of sunset
returning home

last summer breeze
whispers warm promises
before the snows

golden silence
in the old alleys

Simply marvelous!

Wonderful as always!
But … yikes … ! I forgot 30 days of haiga …. probably way too much to catch up on this year as I’m selling my house. o.O
Love the palm trees.

Actually I think you can start anytime to do the challenge and not have to do everyday, Rick is a fine guy and very understanding. Happy to hear from you again Mislucja and thanks for the compliment! ❤

Did a tanka haiga yesterdfay …. ahhh….. felt good! Might not get 30 in though bc there’s an official offer on my house … I’ve gotta be “outa Dodge” by Halloween. (And I don’t know where I’m going to live yet.) Yikes!
Good to see you’ve returned 🙂

Yeah .. yes once one gets back into the writing it does feel good doesn’t it. My friend sold his house last year … in a whirlwind manner and had to go live in a condo putting his stuff in storage until he replaced his house. It’s a difficult way to do things, but he says rewarding. Best of luck!

I love what you have done for 30doh. I am glad to finally come across someone else who is doing it as well. I haven’t found many people per Rick’s link so I am not sure how many people are joining in.

It’s true, not a lot of people do 30 DOH but this is my third year – I’ve really fallen behind this year – it’s been a year of unease and change. I’m glad you enjoyed the post, it’s encouraging for me.

aloha Georgia. you are never late to play in 30doh. well. the link up boxes eventually stop taking links. but you can always go back and see them. and you can always use the prompts.
very cool on your strategy tho. i particularly like the 2nd and 4th haiga. i like the strength of the visual images in the lines and the images they go with. all the images are good, i think it’s those two that particularly resinate with me. very cool.
