sadness:
laments,
season’s
pass-time!
winter
browns out
people
daily.
depress,
our souls
these dark
long hours!
leaving
only
blacked-out
windows.
season’s
pass-time.
(Thanks dearest Caddo for reminding me of this form this morning!)

Pleiades Poem
Walking
When poems I can’t write,
Word’s fire soon reignite…
Weary, I find respite,
Weaving dream paths by night,
Wandering too, by daylight,
Welcomes thoughts in free flight…
Walking brings me delight!
Thanks to Caddo Spumoni‘s introduction to this form, I wrote the original poem for Poet’s Corner.
Sahm King offers us the opportunity on the WDBWP‘s prompt to reflect on our silver linings…
Double Gary Kyrielle
Silver linings
I
Silver
linings
in time
will show
What seemed
a loss
to be
your gain
Thought you
sadness
to be
failure
Think then
upon
the love
received
And say
thank-you…
II
Trouble
has brought
so much
to me
And war
has taught
me love
for peace
Rootless
was I
without
country
Opened
me for
present
bounties
Silver
linings
I wish to dedicate this poem to Caddo Spumoni, and his enthusiastic inspirational use of the Gary Kyrielle.
