Nefelibata

Nefelibata

you walk the high winds
in both summer and winter
by night and by day
flying white or grey steeds
or standing stomping
way way up in the blue sky
I long and wonder
of the lands that you’ve seen
as I watch your games
like a mage or shape changer
you change constantly
then expanding you’re soon gone
only to return
on sky-flying white swans
herding lost sheep –
children delight in the parks
picking out your shapes
Nefelibata walk high
bring your delights
though scientists say – just clouds
water vapour – in the sky
