I love haiku and Japanese poetry .. for me it’s like an impressionistic painting in words … you paint what you see grabbing the sensation transmitting a moment of thought and feeling. Unlike most poetic forms the trick isn’t in describing details but a moment’s passing, the readers imagination and experience fills in the blanks. Thanks Carol for asking me 😉 Georgia.
