Biography in Twelve Verses

menacing challenge

a drifting figure
like a storm or summer breeze
– father

all-pervasive night

whimsy and horror
kaleidoscope of events

blocking the exit
growing up

pin-point and bright
wavering uncertainly
saving light

the inner voice commands
the silence

throwing off fear
trusting once again

this closed window
keeping out the weather
and the sunshine

plain truth –

balancing stones

momentary dazzling light
in monotony

at sixty-four
a rocky stability
after the tears flowed

      • Sorry, it’s Kristjsan who does HH, isn’t it! Of course, I meant Shadorma and Beyond. I’d love to see the different lives of poets. I’d certainly have a go myself.😊

          • Perhaps Shadorma and haiku combination would be nice…just love your series, Georgia, the last stanza is raw…hugs to you and wishing you splendid week.

          • Thanks … I’m glad you enjoyed .. I wanted to use the wordle differently, like a haiku a word .. but not just a series of haiku – and a biography came to mind. A mix with shadorma and haiku could be interesting … in fact … we could add the elfje as well.

          • Ach .. this week was tilus week 😉 I’ll have to drop by and see what you came up with!! Thanks for telling me.
